Stop the Presses!

I forgot to mention in yesterday's blog posting that Savvy hit the local newspapers.  Well, not literally.  Why would anyone hit a newspaper?  Put one under the litterbox--sure, no problem.  But hit?  I don't think so.

Thanks to the Mooresville-Decatur Times for running this photo story in its paper edition.  A picture is worth a thousand words.

P.S.  Savvy is synonymous with sophistication.  There were lots of popular songs in the 1930s about sophsitication, but "Top Hat, White Tie and Tails," recorded by Al Bowlly (with The Freshmen) (1935), is one such tune.  People used to get dressed up back then when they were stepping out.
