UPDATE April, 2021: Mooresville (Indiana) Public Library discontinued notary public services in April, 2021.
Boss Lady just informed moi that the BizMeister (i.e., Miss Sharon) is also a Notary Public. So my Library now has two Notaries Public available for our patrons. (The other, you may recall, is Technigal, i.e., Miss Kate, as we mentioned in a previous blog posting.)
So now you may get twice the notarizations for the same low price of FREE. Bring your legal documents (or whatever other stuff needs to be notarized) to my Library and just ask for the BizMeister (Miss Sharon) or Technigal (Miss Kate). Actually, you'll get funny looks if you use their "Cauli" nicknames, so better just say you want something notarized, and they will come running to help. Or call them by their real names (Sharon or Kate). Whatever works best for you is good with us.
I Could Use the Hat
Maybe the Library should purchase some sort of identifying clothing that the BizMeister and Technigal could wear to alert patrons of this extremely valuable public service. Let's see what's on the Internet.
Pretty Effective Marketing, I'd Venture
What say, Boss Lady? These t-shirts would probably increase our monthly notarizations a hundred-fold.

P.S. Speaking of notary seals, "Sealed With a Kiss," written by Peter Udell and Gary Geld (1960), was recorded by several artists, but most successfully by Brian Hyland (1962), whose cover of the song reached #3 on Billboard's Hot 100 Pop Singles chart and the U.K. Singles Chart.
