Poltergeists in MEG-A-RAE? Stranger Things Have Happened

Haunted Library Update (Sept. 30, 2013):  Check out Scowl-Face's haunted library blog post for more details about all the spooky happenings at Mooresville (Indiana) Public Library.

Edited Videos:  In case you're in a hurry, my minions have edited the two episodes of MEG-A-RAE to highlight the "poltergeist encounters."  I think we can safely rule-out anything paranormal happening here, but it's still funny.  Click the player below to watch the video.  The full episodes are embedded further below.

A poltergeist invades this week's episode of MEG-A-RAE, the Library's readers' advisory vlog (video blog) featuring Savvy and Programma Mama.  See if you think it's an authentic paranormal phenomena.

What do you think?  Seemed sort of fake to moi.  I'm guessing it was Scowl-Face tossing the book across the top of those short shelves into the camera frame.  Amos Rusie, he's not.

There has been authentic poltergeist activity registered in the MPL Indiana Roving Reporter Room, most recently by those ghost hunters who offered that program at the Library a few months ago.  We even did a program (or promo) trailer about it.

Drop by the Library to pick-up your paranormal books.  There are loads of fiction about the supernatural, but we've got non-fiction, too.  Check the stacks in Dewey # 133 and 398.  I could be more specific about those Dewey numbers, but you'll find lots to interest you by browsing the shelves.

Is the Library actually haunted?  Talk to Programma Mama and Savvy.  They can tell you some things that will make your hair stand on end.

Poltergeist Update (October 24, 2012):  The Library's poltergeist is getting rather clumsy, as this week's episode of MEG-A-RAE demonstrated.

P.S.  I'd really like to show you some video taken during the ghost hunters' investigation at the Library, but I don't have permission.  Sorry.  Meanwhile, let's see what's available through share alike from YouTube.

P.P.S.  Is any of this bona fide poltergeist activity?  Not when it's "made to order" like this, I'll wager.  I'm guessing some clever wannabe filmmaker has arranged some pretty spectacular "paranormal phenomena."  Great production, dudes!  You'll be making scary movies for real someday.
