Farewell Party Interviews by Sammy the Toucan

At Broadway Gal and Sammy the Toucan's farewell party yesterday (Monday, October 8, 2012), Sammy conducted some final patron interviews for Sammygrams, her "what's happening at the library" video feature.  Everybody was having a great time at the party, so the background noise was pretty loud.  But I think you can hear them talking all right.

Wild Thang returned for the party, and, naturally, Sammy got an exclusive interview.

We made a nice logo for Sammygrams.  Too bad we waited until the last two episodes.  However, Sammy could still use the logo in her new job at the Indiana State Library.

Nice Ring, Wild Thang--Just Saying,

P.S.  Speaking of parties, "Instant Party," by The Who, was released as a single (as you can see in this video).  Actually, in America it was the "B" side of the single whose "A" side was "A Legal Matter." For its American album release, Decca Records included "Instant Party" as the final side two track on the LP The Who Sings My Generation (1966).  We've used this tune as a musical closer before, but it's so good, why not reprise?  In this video, the vocal track has been amplified so you can hear Roger Daltrey's voice more clearly.

P.P.S.  Here's another copy of the 45 r.p.m. single release of "Instant Party." This is what the record sounded like on stereos in 1966, with all its pops and scratches.
