Somehow, Miss Megan, our teen outreach librarian, has worked at my library for awhile now without having received her Cauli nickname. That's quickly remedied.
Meet Teen Titan, our teen librarian!
Our Teen Titan, Miss Megan
Okay, Miss Megan is not actually a teen, but she works with teens. Plus, she is a titan of teen librarianship! So the shoe fits, as they say.
Teen Titan is called an outreach librarian because she works at two places--Mooresville Public Library and Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation. That's, like, two full-time jobs rolled into one! So she's super busy. But, fortunately, she has plenty of super-power to keep her going. She handles all things young adult at the library, creating exciting new programs and activities, developing our teen collections, and doing lots of librarian/teacher stuff at the schools. So she's like moi, roving around doing wonderful things to educate and motivate our young humans.
Now that she has a nickname, Teen Titan needs a superhero costume. Maybe her Nerd Club teens can suggest some super ideas. Every librarian should have a superhero costume. Just saying.
