Following my posting about Dozen Day (i.e., the Day of Twelves), this article makes my blog's 888th post. Is that some sort of mystical number? How could we celebrate that?
How about "Eight Miles High" by the Byrds (from the LP Fifth Dimension [1966]). It's not a drug song, by the way.
Of course, there's "Eight Days a Week" by the Beatles (from the LP Beatles For Sale [1964]).
What about Library videos numbered eight (from the MPL YouTube Channel)? We can do that.

Pieces of eight! That's what Long John Silver's winged dinner (i.e., his parrot on his shoulder) kept saying. (That was probably from a movie version of Treasure Island. I don't recall reading it in the book.) Say, we've got a book trailer for the greatest pirate novel ever written. The video is worth watching just to listen to the Music Man's fine soundtrack ["I Canali di Venezia," from the album Through Abstract Eyes (2010)].

P.S. "Liverpool Eight," by Ringo Starr, was the title track to his 14th studio album (2008). Here's the official music video. You don't have to be a Beatles fan to get choked up over this tune.
Concatulations on all those 888 posts!
