I Geek . . . Billboards of Moi

Remember the Geek the Libraries campaign that the Indiana State Library and many public libraries are doing?  Remember my "geek poster" (how could you forget, right?)  Did you watch our geek promo trailers?  Did you see my library colleagues' geek posters at the Old Settlers Festival/Picnic/Fair?  You'd think that would cover all the bases.

Not so!  There's a new Geek the Libraries billboard in Greenwood, Indiana.  Thanks to the alertness of the Greenwood Public Library staff, we have a cell phone photo.  Check this out.

Greenwood, Indiana Billboard

That's a mighty fine billboard, to be sure.  But I think it could be even better.

Improvement?  I'm Thinking So

Greenwood Public Library has some cool stuff for its patrons and staff.  Like, for instance, this absolutely pawsome magnetic sign that The Lady With the Red Hair is showcasing on her wheels.

Isn't that just the coolest thing you've ever seen?  Well, maybe not the coolest, but plenty cool, nevertheless.

So, Boss Lady, When Will We Be Getting Our Geek the Library Stuff?  Just Asking,

P.S.  Since geek is sometimes used as a synonym for nerd, here's the theme song to the movie Revenge of the Nerds (1984), performed by the Rubinoos.
