Stop the Presses!

Never one to leave well enough alone, Scowl-Face has revised his MS-PowerPoint slideshow (for his workshop at the Evergreen Indiana Conference on Friday, May 6, 2011) to include North Webster (Indiana) Community Public Library's 2010 holiday (and Evergreen Indiana) promotional video.  North Webster has created an entertaining video for patrons and other interested viewers.  It is an excellent demonstration of what libraries can do to inexpensively, yet capably, promote the E.I. consortium and themselves.  So Scowly was right to amend his slideshow to include it.  (Hey, here's a thought:  beat the crowds and watch the North Webster video right here!  Mine is a full service blog, after all.)

If you would like to see Scowl-Face's slideshow, check either of these blog postings for downloading instructions:

Or you could just email Scowl-Face at billb@mooresville.lib.in.us and request a copy.  It's your call.

P.S.  Continuing with our kidding around about Scowl-Face's teaching abilities, we offer "Hard Way to Learn," by Hungrytown (Ken Anderson & Rebecca Hall).  Hungrytown performed live at my Library in November, 2007, and it was a grand concert.  If you haven't heard the band's work, then you should scurry on down to the Hungrytown website.  Ken and Rebecca's award-winning retro-folk sound has been highly praised by such folk-rock luminaries as Roger McGuinn (of the Byrds).
