Faux Fire Even More So

The faux fire in the fireplace by the Library's front entrance has become even more faux.  See what you think.

Here's what it looked like before:

What gives?  Where did the "flamier" faux fire go?  I think a Congressional investigation is in order!  (That'll accomplish a lot.  Maybe we'll have a subcommittee report by Summer.  2014.)

Well, I'm sad about the whole change.  But it is what it is, I guess.  Still makes me sad.
