A C-Note of Book Trailers, or As Many Benjamins

My library just posted its one hundredth book trailer on its YouTube Channel. Roll out the red carpet.

If these book trailers were Federal Reserve Notes, there would be a "C-Note's" worth (which is $100), or as many "Benjamins" (guess whose engraving graces the $100 bill).  That could buy a lot of canned tuna in oil.

Sometime later today, the MPL YouTube Channel will reach its 30,000th viewer.  Maybe s/he should receive one of those "Benjamins."  (Don't even suggest one of my cans of tuna-in-oil.  We are not going there.)  Perhaps a "Mr. Jefferson" would do (think coin, not currency).  (Scowl-Face hoards two dollar bills, by the way.  He thinks they'll be collectors' items someday.  But, then, he once thought Monopoly money was real, and that was just last month.)

Right now, the library has 146 total videos posted to YouTube, so it has twice as many book trailers as anything else.  I'm not sure what that means, but 146 isn't a convenient number for any jokes.  The sum of the numerals is eleven, however, which also doesn't mean anything, except that my math skills are first-rate for a feline.  Ask me to define the Pythagorean theorem.  I've watched The Wizard of Oz more times than you've had hot dinners.  The flying monkeys are my favorite characters.  (Toto is just a clever slobberdog, which is an oxymoron, by the way.  I'm kidding, of course.)

Help us celebrate this milestone by watching some of our YouTube videos.  Otherwise, Scowl-Face will be even more surly than usual, and nobody wants that, believe you me.  He already scares the little people patrons who wander into his lair.

  1. Hey, Cauli,

How come this book trailer is numbered 96 if it's the 100th posted? Just asking.

P.S. What's with the ad hominem rants when I point out an error in your blogs? Editors are supposed to do that.

  2. Scowl-Face,

You know why--you did the numbering. Take a memory pill! In case anyone else is wondering, four of the book trailers are numbered differently than the 96 others. Weird, I know.

P.S. Better ad hominem than ad nauseam.
