"Tea-Minus" 15 Till Tess

As I write, it is now T-minus 15 minutes until our "Morning Tea With Tess Gerritsen" program begins.  Make that "tea-minus," I'll venture.

Many thanks to the Decorinator, BizMeister, Boss Friend (as in Friends of the Library), Boss Lady, and Programma Mama for their fine job setting up the "Bone-ita" Marley Community Room for this event.  Minions, make with the photo gallery.  As always, click the images to bigify.

Our (Continuously Playing) PowerPoint Slideshow
Showcases Several Tess Blockbusters

 Ready to Check-Out

 Forensic Pathology, Anyone?

 "We Deal With Stiffs"

(We lifted that line from an old Monty Python sketch.)

Not a Real Dead Body, But an Incredible Simulation

 "Hoppy" Helps Out
(Get It?  Only One Foot)

(That "hoppy" joke was Boss Friend's, so don't yell at moi.  Actually, she called the skeleton "Bone-ita Hopper," which is pretty funny.)

 "Dem Bones, Dem Bones"
(Sing Along, James Weldon Johnson)

Boss Lady's X-Ray?  Just Asking

You can see remodelling of breaks to a couple of ribs close to the sternum.  Or it could have been bubble gum stuck to the x-ray machine.  Your call.

This is going to be our best adult program ever!  Too bad I wasn't invited, but I'm doing the roving reporter thing.

P.S.  "I'm Shipping Up to Boston," by the Dropkick Murphys, is the theme song to the television series Rizzoli & Isles.  The song appeared on the group's CD The Warrior's Code (2005).  The band plays its signature tune in this music video (above).
