The slideshow continuously runs on our monitor, which I call MPL^TV

Take a gander (or goose--your call) at the monitor next to our adult information desk (in the Library's grand hall).  You can't miss it.  Just look for the group of patrons looking up, like in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), directed by Steven Spielberg.

P.S.  Here's a clip from Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) when all the earth scientists and technicians look up at the alien spacecraft as they begin communicating using a tonal vocabulary.  This is one of my favorite sci-fi movies.

Our New Monitor Display

We'll be running our MPL CONNECT slideshow (originally created by Broadway Gal) that announces upcoming library programs, services, technologies, and materials available.  Scowl-Face called it the MPL Town Crier, but we like MPL CONNECT much better.

I know one addition that would make it MUCH more interesting to watch.
