Why do I call it the Indiana Roving Reporter Room?  Glad you asked.

Anyway, those are the hours when Scowl-Face is supposed to be sitting in the room.  If he's not there, he's somewhere.  Just follow his scent, like I do when I'm looking for minions to do some work.  Being a feline, of course, my sense of smell is quite keen.  Your results may vary.

Your Roving Reporter On The Go,

P.S.  I've probably used this as a musical closer before, but it's a great tune.  "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?," by Chicago, appeared on the band's double-LP debut album The Chicago Transit Authority (1969).  The song was also released as a single (1970).  CTA was the group's original name, but the City of Chicago sued to prevent its use, so goes the story.  So the band became just plain Chicago.  Sounds better, anyway.
