FOL Wreath Auction Returns

The Friends of the Library (FOL) are having a silent auction for Christmas wreaths, centerpieces, and swags.  They will be on display at the Library between November 15 and December 1, 2012.  Bids will be accepted until December 1.

Beginning Thursday, November 8, volunteers may decorate the wreaths and other items.  Decorations must be completed by November 15.  For additional information, please contact Pat Penna at (317) 834-2755 or email her at patdonpenna@sbcglobal.net; or contact Dawn Wright at (317) 831-2481 or via email at rite4@aol.com for more information or to reserve an item to decorate.

P.S.  As a matter of principle, I absolutely refuse to play December holiday songs before Thanksgiving.  So my musical closer will be "Yule," by the Library's composer, whom I call the Music Man.  It comes from the CD Touch of Winter: 10 Journeys Through White Magick (2010), by Danny Buckley, available for library cardholders to check-out from our Evergreen Indiana online catalog.  We have used the song as the soundtrack to some of our library videos, such as the two above.
