You're Welcome

Scowl-Face has written another of his blog installments about the Library's century of public service.  If you're into that sort of thing, click here.  If not, click here.  See--there's no escaping Scowl-Face's dronings.

Seriously, it's worth a quick glance.  The Library's history is quite interesting.  How many of us have been around for a whole century?

P.S.  Since the theme to this year's National Library Week is about belonging at your library, and Scowl-Face came up with the tagline, "Welcome back to where you belong," for our promo trailer, I thought it would be a nice musical closer to watch the Beatles rehearsing "Get Back" from the Let It Be sessions (1969).  The song was released as a single (1970) and appeared on the album Let It Be (1970).

P.P.S.  "Welcome Back" (1976) was a solo hit single for John Sebastian.  It was the theme song to the television series, Welcome Back, Kotter (1975-1979).
